Compensation varies by state, complexity, and speciality. On Single Aim, you will determine the compensation for a specific role you are interested in. All roles are paid monthly and the pay ranges from $400-1200/month per collaboration.
Our physician collaborators report each collaboration role can take about 1-2 hrs per month to support. It's a great return on your time investment.
State requirements vary but may include: chart review frequency (e.g., monthly or quarterly), chart review quantity, in-person meeting requirements, and submission of agreements to the state board.
Yes, but the roles are different:Collaborating Physician: Provides clinical oversight, reviews charts, and grants prescriptive authority as required by state law.Medical Director: Oversees clinical protocols, compliance, and broader operational responsibilities, often including CPOM (Corporate Practice of Medicine) compliance.
Some states cap the number of practitioners (e.g., Texas allows five full-time NPs per physician). Many physicians also consider their personal capacity, the number you can manage based on your licenses, time, and resources.

We encourage all our physicians to go throughout our onboarding training where we teach you how it works with Single Aim and how to start collaborating. There is a bunch of information on state by state guidance and how to write and understand a collaboration agreement.
When new matches are approved, you’ll receive an email with details. You can view the profile, decline, or express interest. If you express interest, your profile will be sent to the practitioner. If you are an exclusive member, you can have access to browse all opportunities you may match with. Our resources and tools make it easy for you to self-match based on your licensure, state of residency and other state considerations.
Yes, the profile you create is what we use to share your information with potential partners and people who may be interested in working with you. You can also share your profile directly as well to have people automatically match with you.
Once you’ve expressed interest and the practitioner responds back to you, you’ll see their job posted in your Single Aim Dashboard. We encourage you to reach out quickly if interested as many physicians may also be interested.
Practitioners pay their monthly fee through Single Aim. Payments are processed automatically after deducting the platform and membership fees. All payments are directly provided to Physicians once they sign up with Stripe. You can sign-up directly in your Single Aim dashboard.
Notify the practitioner in writing and cc Single Aim. Most states require a minimum of 30-days’ notice, and some require documentation to be submitted to the state board.
